Yarrow Teaching Schools Alliance
In May 2014, St George’s CE Primary School, an outstanding Chorley Primary School, was granted Teaching School Status and the Yarrow Teaching School Alliance was born. Made up of a group of 18 local schools, the Alliance is fully committed to delivering in the areas of Continuous Provisional Development, School to School Support, Research and Development, the Recruitment and Management of SLEs (Specialist Leaders of Education), developing leadership potential and School Led initial teacher training.
Pro-active in its approach, the YTSA is a professional and dynamic alliance committed to raising standards in its schools and ensuring its pupils the very best educational experiences.
At Clayton-le-Woods CEP, we are very proud to be a part of this alliance. We have taken on a number of associate teachers and are very proud that we have employed one former associate teacher to our number.
